Bin night
Set bin night by hand
That’s it. Green goes out every week; red and yellow swap each fortnight, and we work out the rest.
Different bins where you live?
Put your garbage bin out the night before: Monday night for Tuesday collection (on and south of Dubbo Street, and Nevertire) or Thursday night for Friday collection (north of Dubbo Street, and Collie), and call council on 02 6847 6600 if you are unsure. We'll remind you on your 2824 page the day bins go out.
Can I throw it in this bin?
Type an item and we'll tell you which bin, and why.
Source: the councils' own bin guides. Councils differ a little.
House-sitter sheet
Going away? Fill in what a house-sitter needs, then print or share it.
Please don't put passwords, alarm codes or where the spare key is in here.
Your sheet automatically includes bin night, emergency numbers, the council's 24/7 line and links to what's open nearby.
